My dining experience at Affan Indo-Chinese & Bangladeshi Restaurant was average overall. I was very interested in trying this place because the menu sounds delicious, and the service certainly delivers—the owner himself serves customers and is extremely friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a casual vibe, and the portions are decent for the price. Over a few visits, my wife and I tried a variety of items, including the chili chicken, sweet and sour chicken, samosas, wings, and chicken 65. The food is generally okay, but you definitely need to specify your spice level. However, several issues hold the place back. The buffet station and tables are not cleaned properly, and the buffet items—especially the chicken and rice—often taste old or maybe from day before. The atmosphere can also be frustrating; while it should be a comfortable spot for everyone, the workers frequently yell and hold loud conversations across the dining room, making it hard to enjoy a meal. To top it off, we had a bad catering experience where the owner charged us for full trays despite them not actually being full, which he was aware of.

Nice new halal Indo-Chinese restaurant in the area. The inside is very spacious and clean. The lollipop chicken and chilli chicken were both very good, as was the soup. One point of contention I had was the service. It was quite slow as there was only one person doing both the waiting for all of the tables as well as manning the register. This led to us having to wait long periods of time before being able to ask for something or awaiting the check to pay. I think Affan should hire another person so that the workload is less on one person and also to improve the service.

I had high hopes for Affan Indo-Chinese & Bangladeshi Restaurant in Woodland Park after hearing about their fusion menu, but my recent visit landed solidly in the average zone. The Mango Lassi was a highlight…smooth, creamy consistency with a nice sweet-tangy flavor that felt refreshing. The Chicken Lollipop was also solid, especially the flavorful, spicy sauce that really stood out. Unfortunately, the rest didn’t quite impress. The Chili Chicken with white rice was okay but lacked that bold kick I was craving. The Masala Chow Mein Chicken tasted suspiciously like a ready-to-eat packet meal…nothing special or fresh-tasting. The Rahu Fish Bhuna was similarly underwhelming, the fish was cooked fine but the spices and overall dish just didn’t hit the spot for me. Service was friendly and prompt, and the place has a casual vibe. Portions were decent for the price. It’s not bad for a quick bite if you’re in the area, but I probably won’t rush back. Worth trying the appetizers and drinks, but the mains need more consistency.

Was very interested in trying this place because their menu looks and sounds delicious. First impressions, not great tbh. Place is pretty big with no music and extremely quiet so the atmosphere doesn't feel "inviting." Service is pretty bad, takes awhile to get someone to your table even though there's only 2 other tables of people. Didn't see any waiters so not sure if it's different on the weekend. They also don't give water unless you ask, and then i was handed two bottles of water which are $1.50 each and wouldn't have found out unless I asked. They will not give regular water because apparently the tap water in the area is bad, but they don't disclose anything upfront. Food was tasty but my $18 Goat Curry was practically half bones so that kinda sucked All in all won't be coming back, much better places to choose from

The restaurant is huge, the dining area is clean. My sister & I went for the Ramadan Iftar Buffet. We put in a reservation just in case. When we walked in, we weren't greeted, but we sat wherever we wanted. As soon asbit became Maghrib time, we headed to the buffet table where there were about 8-10 items ready to be self-served. There was 1 lemonade type drink, 1 lentil, 3-4 fried items, 1 noodle, 2 types of rice, and 3-4 chicken curries. Once some dishes were emptied, they were not refilled. There was one pre-packaged dessert (Jalebi) abailable. Flavor wise everything was average, the beef in one of the rice dishes was tough. The spice level was mild of most dishes. I would definitely like to come back & try their lunch buffet outside of Ramadan. Give them a try!
